Time

The bonsai has already taught me something.

Time.

There is a mathematical equation built into everything. We call it time.

60 minutes.

12 months.

2 days.

mid-night.

60 seconds. milliseconds. Summer, Spring, Winter, Fall.

My Granny, the eldest of my family, is one of the strongest women I know. Her mother lived well into her 90's, though she'd lost her mind. My Granny, bless her heart stays busy. She keeps her mind busy, she still has a check paying job. She helps her peers get the help they need. Most don't know what's available. She is so sweet. She has, and continues to, teach me much.

She birthed 3 strong persons, a man and two daughters. Her son, Joseph Gordon, was named after a man who died in World War 2, his uncle.

In the 1600's his great^x grandfather was born in England, and died in North America.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1600s_in_England

Unfortunately his story telling stopped long ago. Too bad, because he had a great memory..and he could tell stories.

The name was clearly chosen to go through my older brother....

I had one daughter, second born, and will not have any others, unless we one day decide to adopt. (who know's).

My younger brother and his wife had two daughters. Shan serves in the US Army, and is stationed in Georgia right now. He spent some years in Germany, and did a year in combat. He has an honorable wife, who loves him very much.

Joseph Gordon Junior had a first born daughter, and then a set of twin boys. Jacob and Tristan. My brother and sister in law are good parents, they have taught their kids right from wrong, and respect, and hard work. Jacob and Tristan have some big shoes to fill.. hoping for boys.. to carry on that name. Otherwise, through us, our branch ends. That was short lived...

We made it a long time too!! I wonder where the Chenoweth name comes from.. ?? Granny Angel? Marian Traina?

I have no idea why I need that to be an accountant.. but damn.. I'm impressed at what some have learned. Math is a language. I speak broken algebra LOL.

Time. I have 4 more years. I've just begun.. but if my Granny's are a tell.. I'm going to be around for a long time.. I've gotta keep my mind sharp!!

Time. We're going on our first family vacation!! San Diego here we come!! His vacation time sucks as a newb.. but wow, what an amazing job!! We can deal. The weather should be holding up.. we're going to go see some museums and such.. Gonna hit up the 6 flags. CAN'T WAIT!!!!! Brad Curtis was stationed there, so he knows all the Diego "to do's".

#GRACE AND PEACE TO THOSE OF YOU YOU WHO KNOW OF GOD and JESUS CHRIST:

It is by grace that we have been given great and precious promises.We can one day experience life as part of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world, because of human lust.

Because we have this promise, we need to diligently add virtue to our faith.

We are called to moral excellency, hard as that can be. We need to continue gaining in knowledge, and self-control. We need to work on perseverance, godliness, and kindness.

In addition to our faith, we need to add charity, giving to others.

If you have all of those things, you will not be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He who lacks the things I've listed is shortsighted, practically blind. He's forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

Believers, are you sure you were called out of darkness? Were you chosen to be given grace, even though you didn't deserve it? Do the above things, and you will never stumble.

It is for all believers; an entrance will be supplied to us abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of Christ Jesus.

For this reason I'll try to remind you of these things, though you already know, and are established in the present truth.

As long as I am in this place, to stir you by reminding you, even though I must one day leave this tent, just as Christ showed me.
Also, I will be sure that you always have a reminder of these things after I decease.

Revelations

Revelation: The revealing of something that was once unknown. 

Revelations: A book written a couple thousand years ago that has been perfectly preserved. It was written by a man, inspired by God.

My thought, I believe, is often inspired by God. I write a lot of lengthy, deep thoughts, such as this, but I don't have courage to post them. I am afraid of the ripples.

My Angel Granny taught me a moral not long ago: Words lose their power when too many are used. I get it, I understand it. I just haven't mastered it. I feel like I am constantly talking.. to someone. Whether it is on the phone via text, on FB, email, in real life..

Communication is who I am. My daughter told me tonight that I need to be a preacher. I can write.. OH.. I can write. But speak I am unable. My insides turn into fireworks, my thoughts start speeding on the Jersey turnpike.  

#pREACHING

"Water will fall from the sky." I said to my daughter.    "Okaaaaay." she said.

"In Noah's day that was nonsense," I started preaching. "The people laughed at him when he told them.

"Why?". She'd asked my favorite question. 

"They didn't believe him.

 Water had never fallen from the sky, and how would that even be possible? 

Some may have believed him, but they had crops to tend, children to feed. Their lives couldn't stop, even if they DID believe.

I wasn't there, and I can't pretend to know the details...I read the story, as it is recorded in human history. Whether it is true, or if it is false. Personally I believe the bible to be written communication, a handbook if you will, from the Creator of the Universe to humans living on the Earth.

Moses recorded the flood.

Moses was alive during the times of the Pharaohs, with the pyramids and slaves. He was a Hebrew, who was adopted by the Pharaoh's daughter after his mother, a slave, stuck him in a basket and sent him down the river.

# Geneology

Moses came from the bloodline of Levi. Levi was one of Jacob's 12 son's. Jacob had a brother, Esau. Their father was Isaac, the son of Abraham. 

Moses had access to a lot of family history.. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, I imagine, were alive all at the same time.

Abraham, the man called friend, by God, was born in YEAR 1948, 292 years after The Great Flood. Noah and Abraham were alive at the same time for 86 years. 

Abraham's descendants, kin of Noah, were given land, by God.

Moses recorded that very few people were on that boat. The doors were sealed AND THEN it started to rain. Once it started raining the skies opened up and water fell for 40 days. 

Condensation, at it's finest.

"I'm just sayin'," he said. "Water is going to fall from the sky. The Earth, and everyone on it will be destroyed. I can not force you to get on the boat.. It's up to you to believe."

Imagine a pot of Hydrogen and oxygen, placed onto the hot stove. 

Cold has a measure of heat. We have not even experienced the absence of heat, we can get it pretty cold..but we have not yet met the complete absence of heat, like it was in the beginning, when there was nothing. Void. 

My God did that.

He destroyed all the living.

Now mind you, there are a LOT of different biblical versions out there. What you choose to read depends on the grasp you have. Can you read ancient literature, and understand their dialect of the time? Me either. So I read a version that has been updated, so that I can read it. It has been combed through, by scholars of language and historians, both believers and non, who say that it is true to the original text. (not all bibles follow the same rules: go do some research on the bible used by the Jehovah's Witnesses.. I was raised and believed as a JW until I was 26.. I did research to discover that what I had learned from for 20 years was written by 4 men.. mine was written by over 40. Only one of those 4 men read or wrote Hebrew or Greek, because he took 2 hours of biblical Greek, and 20 sum hours in Classic Greek. 20 hours, and he thought he was good enough to give a translation to the world??! Dumb ass. 

Revelations 1:1-3 

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who testifies to everything he saw--that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who  hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

I really don't like what is going on with the Gaza strip right now... Scary stuff.

In the beginning

I'm not sure where this blog is going yet. My other is not getting a lot of views, but it's name is pretty secretive. The other blog is my dig to the bottom of my fat. I long to see the woman I've been hiding.
I started at 272.4, I am now at 238.1 as of my last weigh in on Saturday.
That blog is about me. My struggle with my physical world.

It's time.

I struggle not just in my physical but in my mental and spiritual worlds as well.

My hard wiring was messed up as a child. I was born imperfect. I lived a rough life. My alcoholic father was in a motorcycle accident when I was 9. He damaged his brain beyond repair. My Granny has cared for him his entire life. I have two brothers, both alcoholics. They are both great daddy's. They seem to be caring husbands. They have wives that perfectly suit them. Strong, amazing women.

Sh-tuff happened to me as a child that created emotional scars on my emotional person. I let that damage leach onto my daughter. I do it, thinking I am protecting her, or helping her. I sometimes think I am too hard, strict. I get angry when she doesn't obey me. My God gives me SO much more grace than that which I give to my daughter. That's not good. I need to work on that. I am imperfect. But I have a goal. A book full of lessons, and promises. The bible.

This blog is going to be about my spiritual battle.

To have a relationship with my Creator. To live, loving others, without being self centered (working out, and feeling good about yourself seems to create some self-centeredness).

My creator, in 2006, showed Himself to me while I was reading the bible from front to back. I was is Psalms.
